Recruitment of an Equine Veterinary Examiner
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an equine vet to join our farriery Examination Board and assess candidates for our qualifications.
As an examiner you will gain valuable insights which will bring a fresh perspective to your equine work. You will meet other examiners to learn more about the assessment process and there is potential to open your career path to more senior opportunities in assessment design and delivery. You must have extensive UK experience and be fluent in verbal and written English with excellent communication skills. This role would suit a vet who is 10 years or more graduated.
Our examinations are conducted at forges both nationally and internationally. Examiners are expected to mark accordingly with clear justifications for their grading decisions. You will have access to training sessions and e-learning and the senior farrier examiners will offer support throughout the marking period with their in-depth knowledge.
