Statement from the Worshipful Company of Farrier Examination Board
The Worshipful Company of Farriers Examination Board (EB) deeply regrets the recent announcement by VetSkills of postponement of the End Point Assessment (EPA) and sympathises with the apprentices who will naturally be very disapointed at this delay.
The EB stands ready to support holding the EPA in January, and will continue to give access to its examiner pool, question bank and IT systems as far as it is able.
Further, the WCF appreciates that candidates are concerned as to whether they will still be awarded the Diploma of the WCF (DipWCF) on successful completion of the EPA.
We assure candidates, their families and the ATFs that as long as the EB is satisfied that the new EPA provider meets the standards expected by the WCF, then they will receive their Diplomas upon passing the EPA.
The WCF remains committed to recognising the achievements of each successful candidate at the traditional Awards Ceremony for families, ATFs and friends.
